TRES is a Curaçao based Next-Gen communications company providing residential and business customers with state-of the-art high-speed internet, voice, and digital video services over the island's first and only fiber-to-the-home (“FTTH”) network.
Originally commissioned as Santa Barbara Utilities and for the purposes of initially providing services to the Santa Barbara area, TRES has now grown its reach and is now able to offer most of Curacao these same state of the art services, catapulting Curacao to the forefront of technology practically overnight.
TRES entered into a pole attachment agreement with Aqualectra, which allows TRES to use the utility’s electric poles on the island to deploy its core and distribution network fiber. Last mile connections are then provided through aerial or buried fiber directly to your home, or business.
TRES’ current network consists of 4 switching centers and all fiber optic network in fully redundant fiber rings around the island, and an all fiber optic distribution network with the capability to deliver these services right to your home.
Initially passing approximately 55,000 residential homes and almost all of the 5,500 businesses in Curaçao nearly everyone in Curacao will now be able to have fiber brought directly to their home or business. Basically future proofing your bandwidth needs. As technology changes the fiber will stay in place and serve as the foundation for tomorrow.
TRES’s operations are led by a seasoned management team experienced in sales and marketing, provisioning, and operating video, voice and data systems.
The TRES network is managed by a team of skilled Engineers from its state of the art Network Operations Center (“NOC”) located at the Santa Barbara Plantation.
Customer care is provided from the call center which is centrally located in Parera which also houses the sales office and future TRES store currently being built.
TRES has launched a gradual roll-out of its base service offering to residential customers and commercial customers ramping up in October 2010 with the majority of the deployment completed in a few years.
TRES has built the network and the organization from the ground up focusing not only on a robust and fault tolerant network, but also customer focused in its effort to have the best customer service team in the industry.

Rates from Bharti Airtel, Ltd., along with 59 other vendors, can now be loaded into WebCDR Billing exactly as they come, without reformatting.
Telecom billing provider WebCDR (formerly known as Switch Management Corp.) today
reached a milestone of supporting 50 different wholesale carrier ratesheets with its Vendor
Ratesheet Intake, a standard component of its award-winning WebCDR Billing service.
Cable & Wireless Worldwide was the 50th format, with more formats being added weekly on
an as-requested basis from the WebCDR Billing user base.
Vendor Ratesheet Intake was added to WebCDR Billing in 2010. It enables xls-formatted
carrier ratesheets to be uploaded into WebCDR’s outbound rate tables without alteration or
reformatting; a vast improvement over the usual manual method which is both time-
consuming and error-prone. Even complex multi-tab ratesheets with relevant data buried
deep in headers and footers are properly handled, making it an invaluable tool for wholesale
carriers that need the ability to rapidly explore new termination offers.
Earl Ruby, WebCDR’s director of engineering, explains that Vendor Ratesheet Intake was
more than a year in the making and utilizes ground-breaking data sensing and parsing
algorithms to enable rapid implementation of new formats. Says Ruby, “Vendor Ratesheet
Intake knows if the vendor's rates are in U.S. Dollars, Euros, or some other currency, and
whether or not specific time zones apply to the rates. It even handles peak/off-peak rates
which are typically the most complex. We have customers that upload 20 to 30 ratesheets
per week from different carriers and WebCDR accepts them all. It can even accept rates
based on North American OCN/LATA codes.” Earl is looking forward to the 100th supported
ratesheet format, a milestone he estimates his team will reach by mid-year.
Raj Guru, a manager at Callx Telecom, says "Basically, WebCDR makes the rate intake
process extremely simple and easy to understand. We extensively use it to load rate sheets
from at least 20-25 different vendors with various formats.”
Ian MacIver, CEO of UK mobile operator Greenphone, says, “We use WebCDR for our
wholesale part of our business. We receive many updated rate sheets from our suppliers each week. The Vendor rate sheet Intake feature is key to Greenfone's ability to keep up
with the changes in different suppliers rates.”

If you are terminating calls in North America and your rates are based on OCN (operating company number) and LATA (local access and transport area) codes, and your CDR files only contain dialed digits, you need to have a way to translate OCN/LATA codes into sets of prefixes (NPANXXY dial codes) in order to rate calls.
WebCDR can use your licensed copy of the Telcordia LERG* and create NPANXXY-based prefix sets from the LERG data. When your vendor publishes a rate for "OCN 7128 LATA 728" WebCDR will automatically apply that rate to all calls with dialed digits starting with 15593063, 15593183, 1559321, 15593210, 15593212, 15593219, 15593583, 15593634, 1559490, 15595963, 1559650, 15597173, 15597723, 15598024, or 15598133. If the codes change WebCDR will make the changes on the appropriate date, so that calls made before the date will use the old codes and calls made after the date will use the new codes.
Rather than having to translate OCN/LATA codes to sets of NPANXXY codes, WebCDR automatically takes care of it for you.
*Telcordia publishes a database called the LERG (Local Exchange Routing Guide) which is available on a subscription basis. You will need to negotiate a license with Telcordia to use the LERG.
NANPA is the North American Numbering Plan Administration. They maintain lists of 3-digit state and country dial codes for North America. WebCDR can automatically create prefix sets for you using the dial codes provided by NANPA.
If you are creating a US Intrastate rate for California, use the "NANPA US - CA" prefix set for both the source and destination prefixes. WebCDR uses the NANPA data and applies the rate to all calls starting with 1209, 1213, 1310, 1323, 1369, 1408, 1415, 1424, 1442, 1510, 1530, 1559, 1562, 1619, 1626, 1627, 1628, 1650, 1657, 1661, 1669, 1707, 1714, 1747, 1760, 1764, 1805, 1818, 1831, 1858, 1909, 1916, 1925, 1935, 1949, or 1951. Rather than having to maintain your own list of dial codes, WebCDR and NANPA take care of it for you.
WebCDR can load telcom rate sheets exactly as you get them from your vendors, without reformatting. WebCDR now supports rate sheets from Hutchison Global Communications, Teliax, Cable & Wireless Worldwide, as well as many other major telecom providers.
We are pleased to announce the release of WebCDR Advanced Invoicing, a powerful set of new features designed to automate and streamline the task of generating and distributing your carrier invoices.
Select all customers to be invoiced with one mouse click. If you have some carriers that you invoice monthly, some that are bi-monthly, and some that are weekly, you can select all of the customers that need to be invoiced on a given day with one click.
Integrated Review and Send Functionality. Review an invoice on the screen, click send. Done.
Send large CDR files as links, not attachments. If you use WebCDR to mail your invoices any attachments are larger than 5MB will be sent as a link. By clicking the link your customer downloads the attachment from WebCDR.com.
Invoice Tracking. If you use WebCDR to mail your invoices WebCDR will attempt to verify that your customer got the invoice.
