Telecom billing provider WebCDR has added a new component that can enforce a single consistent A-Z name set for all customer and vendor rates. Customers can use WebCDR's master list of dial codes and their respective region names, or define their own master list. Vendor-supplied region names can then be silently converted throughout the system, including reports, price lists, and invoices.

"In the multitude of vendor-supplied rate sheets, there's no global standard for names on A-Z price lists ," says WebCDR founder Adam Nathanson, "let alone a 'names-to-dial codes list'. Telecom carriers have been struggling for years to stitch together a bunch of these disparate vendor lists to try to make one consistent customer list."
